| That is what a co-worker said to me one day as we were working. Unfortunately, the 'him' in that statement was someone who lived across the country. We said to ourselves, "Surely there's a way to buy someone a beer online" but there wasn't! So, with neccessity being the mother of invention and our market research showing that EVERYONE loves to have a beer on someone else's dime, we set out to build a website that would allow its visitors to buy someone a beer online. YouGotBeer.com was born! The site went live in December of 2005 and we've been making the days of our beer recipients ever since! Beer senders love it as well. Now it's easy for a father to be the first to buy his son a beer even if he's miles and miles away at college. It's also a great token of appreciation to thank someone at work.
